Info

SoteDataLab is a research project focusing on the effectiveness of social and health services, which is carried out in cooperation between the National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL), Aalto University and the University of Turku. The project is funded by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health. We study the use, users, production and effectiveness of health services in order to produce information that supports decision-making. In particular, we focus on digital services and the use of artificial intelligence in social and health care. Our research is mainly based on register data: We strive to use diverse and up-to-date register data on the use of social and health services and the background characteristics of the population.
